Orienteering Exercise: Compass training in pairs

The front runner has a white paper with only the course. The runner behind has a normal map with the same course. The front runner shall run on compass while the runner behind controls where they are. Exchange maps at each control.

Aim: Compass training. The second runner is there in order to avoid big mistakes ruining the training.
Variants: May have some details on the blank map (see e.g. Fog orienteering) in order to not make it too difficult.
Aids: OCAD is needed in order to make the blank map. See Tips_on_OCAD_usage here.
Terrain: Quite flat terrain should be used.
