		<description>I agree with Bengt: Lundanes and Niggli (and to some degree Kauppi) were so much faster than the rest of the field that you&#039;ll have to compare relative speeds, not just absolute time values.

I.e. if Olav is on average 8% faster than competitor X, then X probably had a very good route choice when he was just 3-5% behind on a given leg.

From the TV coverage the huge difference was in &quot;broken field running&quot; as well as very fast in&amp;out of every control.

Among the women only Niggli floated through the terrain in the same way as Lundanes.</description>
